Green Lagoon is a small and secluded bay along the northern coastline of the Akamas Peninsula, situated between the Baths of Aphrodite and Amphitheatre Bay. Surrounded by rocky cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation, the lagoon is distinguished by its remarkably clear water, which changes from turquoise to deep emerald green depending on the sunlight and seabed.
Its calm water and natural setting make Green Lagoon a beautiful location for swimming, snorkelling, sightseeing and photography. Unlike developed beaches, the area has retained its wild coastal character, allowing visitors to experience a quieter and less familiar side of Akamas.
Green Lagoon can be viewed or visited during boat trips departing from Latchi Harbour and exploring the Akamas coastline. Whether you discover it during an organised cruise, a private charter or a self-drive boat trip, it is one of the hidden natural highlights along the journey towards the Blue Lagoon.
